Anna Lewis is a designer maker working in the field of jewellery and the fashion object. Anna is also a lecturer on Foundation and Surface Pattern Design at Swansea College of Art, UWTSD. This experimental workshop will explore ideas surrounding wearability. Participants will create an object which can exist on or off the body, it might be jewellery, it might be large scale sculpture. The workshop will start with experimental drawing techniques that will then extend into 3D materials, using mixed media to create an otherworldly ‘fashion object’. Materials will be provided but participants are welcome to bring along curious found objects to enhance any ideas!
